Fried Cornbread

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Cups Corn Meal
  • 1/4 Cup All-Purpose Gluten Free Flour
  • 1 TSP Salt
  • 1/4 Cup Coconut Oil Plus about 1 TBSP for frying
  • 1/2 Cup Milk of Choice
  • 1 Egg

Instructions
 

  • Combine all ingredients. Heat a cast-iron skillet over medium high heat and add reserved oil. Once oil is hot, spoon about 1/4 cup of the batter into the skillet and let cook for about two minutes, or until the exterior is crisp. Flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Repeat until batter is finished. Serve warm and enjoy!
