  • 4 Short Ribs (bone in)
  • 2 TBSP Oil (Olive or Avocado)
  • 1.5 TBSP Himalayan Pink Salt
  • 2 TSP Pepper
  • 2 TBSP Finely Chopped Parsley
  • 1/2 diced onion
  • 1 Head Garlic, Sliced in half, skin on
  • 1.5 Cup red wine
  • 1 TBSP Butter
  • Fresh Rosemary For Garnishing

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a dutch oven pan over medium high heat. In the meantime, generously salt short ribs. Once oil is hot, sear short ribs on each side until a thin crisp exterior forms, about 4-5 minutes. Add in garlic, onion, parsley and pepper and let simmer together for for about 10 minutes. Add in the wine and the butter, and stir until combined allowing to simmer for a few minutes.
  • Continue to cook on low heat for 1.5-2 hours. In the oven, this will be at around 200 degrees. On the stove top, cook on lowest heat. OR, put in the crockpot on medium heat. When the meat is ready, it should fall straight off the bones. Remove the bones, and short ribs, and strain the sauce, removing any whole garlic pieces. Pour sauce generously over the short ribs and serve.
